1. What tools, software, operating systems, and equipment are available in your school and classroom? (including but not limited to: videoconferencing, streaming, photos sharing sites, video sharing sites, document sharing sites, podcasts, blogs, wikis, social networking sites, etc.)
Health Classrooms – laptop carts (1 for every 2 students), smart board, wifi/internet access
Gym-3 Ipads, 1 MacBook Pro, projector, 3 digital cameras, 1 video camera, wifi/internet access
2. How does your school make use of school and/or teacher websites?
Tech classes, K-3 2-3 desktops in classrooms and 1-2 Ipads, 4-5 Share laptop cart, 6-8 Share 3 laptop carts, online interventions such as Achieve 3000, online grade system, multiple classrooms use Class DoJo.
3. How are you currently utilizing technology for learning?
Online research and presentations on STIs, body systems, and physical activity.
IPad apps in the gym, yoga, circuit training, body resistance exercises.
Online short exercise classes projected in the gym
4. From the list of global e-learning sites included below, which are available and which sites are blocked by your firewall? The only sites that you're required to explore are listed here, but feel free to look at/comment on others on the list that I have attached. Please reserve time to explore these sites and process what they have to offer.

Yes!!! Very useful for connecting students domestically and internationally
2. iEARN www. iearn.org
Potential..need to dig further into this to see best ways to use.
3. ConnectAllSchools http://www.connectallschools.org
Definitely great way to connect my students
4. Peace Corps Speakers Match http://wws.peacecorps.gov/wws/speakersmatch/
Yes, can use but also have my own network of RPCVs that I can call on, also friends who are still overseas.
5. ePals http://www.epals.com
I think I can use this with my health and phys ed classes to connect with other classes.
6. Global Nomads Group www.gng.org
Maybe, not having consistent sit down classroom time with students this may not be the best match. This would be great for a social studies teacher

I would maybe use this for myself to find volunteer opportunities or to refer high school and college age alumni to it for international experience.
8. Primary Source www.primarysource.org
I would use this for PD for myself and to connect with other schools. Our district does not have the funds for the partnership program

I would recommend this to my social studies colleagues but without support from my district it would be hard to go. I have to fund myself going to Physical Education conferences so going to a global ed conference would need to have definite direct feedback to my gym and classroom.

No, will check with our tech teacher

Use their smart phones for social media linkage to other classrooms
